The Just So Cushions

The Just So Cushions

Our range of tapestry kits are used to create big and beautiful cushions inspired by the Just So stories of Rudyard Kipling.

Tapestry is the simplest way to stitch. Stitched on a printed canvas using either a full or half cross stitch, it is as close to colouring by numbers as sewing can be!

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

What will you receive?

- The design printed on high quality European natural linen

- A detailed guide on the embroidery techniques you will need

- A detailed colour coded stitching plan

- All the thread you need on colour coded bobbins

- Several needles

Note: The 7" embroidery hoop is an optional add-on when you buy the individual figures given you may already have one if you have done embroidery before. We would definitely recommend stitching with a frame.

What will you receive?

- A high quality bespoke sewing bag

- The design printed on Zweigart interlocked canvas

- All the Appletons british wool you could need

- A design plan and stitching guide

- Several tapestry needles

You do not need to use a frame for tapestry stitching as the canvas has a lot of structure and therefore you don't have to worry about tension. However many people, myself included, find it more comfortable to stitch with a rectangular frame. Therefore I carry stock of the my preferred frame (18" by 9" Elbesee easy clip frames) which you can add on for £15.00 including postage.
